Not wanting her family to miss out on this historic event, she painted her husband Ed and every one of her seven children into the event as well. This is the way our mom saw the world, and who were we to argue with her.

They say the grass is always greener on the other side, but if you ask Polly Kemp, if your grass is not green enough, just repaint it. She was not invited when the Queen visited the Rose Garden, so she painted a painting of it, and there she was!
